The first place in the list belongs to Mount Shkhara. At 5,068 meters it is the highest point in Georgia. This nine-peak mountain Shkhara is located on the central range of the Caucasus , in Svaneti, the highland region in the North -Western part of the country. Shkhara is also the third highest peak in the Caucasus. It is built of granite and crystalline shale. With the mountain-climbing point of view peaks of Shkhara are among the most unmanageable in Europe. The peak was first conquered in 1888 via the North East Ridge route, by the British/Swiss team of U. Almer, J. Cockin and C. Roth.

Kazbegi also known as Mkinvartsveri that reaches 5047meters comes third in the list. Glorious Mount Kazbegi is an inactive stratovolcano and one of the major mountains of the Caucasus located in the Kazbegi District of Georgia. In Georgian Mkinvartsveri translates to ‘Glacier Peak’. The mountain is compared to an old man’s face with a white beard since Kazbegi is covered in snow all year around.

Tetnuldi is the 5th highest and famous peak in the central part of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range, located in the Svaneti region of Georgia. Tetnuldi reaches 4,858 meters and is thought to be 10th highest peak of the Caucasus.
